A small project of creating my very first Iron Man helmet lead to more and more time being devoted to creating a full scale suit of armor. First the design is broken into parts in Pepakura, then taped down onto a sheet of cardboard. This is then cut, shaped, and hot glued together to create the physical model. With the help of straps, elastics, and Velcro the suit allows for a large amount of mobility while maintaining it's structure. A final hot rod red and gold paint job gives the final touches.
